Kirimangu Tautogia

Ngapuhi, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Mahuta, Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa me Kuki Airani ōku Iwi. 

Kirimangu was born and raised in the urban metropolis of South Auckland. Manurewa is where she and her husband  choose to grow and school their three children. She serves her community every day as Head of Social Services at a local Private Training Establishment and through her previous governance role with Dress for Success.

Kirimangu leads with her faith and values of Tikanga Māori. She uderstands the challenges of her community and is passionate about seeing her community thrive by uplifting the voices of all with a particular focus on Rangatahi, Māori, and Pasifika.

Kirimangu has proven she can build relationships, engage effectively, and amplify the voices of her community at the table where decisions impact their wellbeing. She has always been committed to improving social and educational outcomes, and her advocacy has seen her affect change in low socio-economic communities with high populations of Māori, Pacific, and young sole parents. #loverewa
